With over 50 mission trips so far, in a span of over 30 years, Pastor Gary Petersen's has proven how his heart yearns for this country. The people in this communist country are overwhelmed by the poverty they face. They're hopeless, locked in an inescapable place of desperation. Their towns flood every year, leaving them trapped on their roofs with no food. Tourism is their only source for funds, but when we tell them about God's forgiveness/promises/salvation they immediately understand that the Gospel is their only sense of freedom. A way out from under the reign of Ho Chi Minh.

Africa is well known for their poverty, but little is said about their faith. The people here are desperate for hope more than food. Our missions start at the base of their culture, visiting each hut, bringing groceries, and fellowshipping with them. No amount of building projects will show them how much Christ means to them personally, so we engage hand in hand.
"If one of you says to them, 'Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?"
James 2:16

The faith of these children is stronger than any government oppression! It seems that all evangelism has become illegal here, and anything approved by the governing officials is always lukewarm. Christian's in China put us to shame with their true dedication to the Eternal Word and how much they crave to vocalize it... So we help them do just that! We give back in a way that teaches them English, while also getting their children to see the Light! We hope that these souls, young and old, will be on your hearts.

The people of Chapala, Mexico have been laid on our hearts for well over a decade. Their church, and orphanages, are filled with some of the most lovely servants you've ever met. This is a nation that absolutely desires God, but is still so plagued by human depravity. Please pray for Mexico, their family's, that the weather allows a great harvest, and that these little children will be saved!
